Handara Golf opened in 1974 as Bali’s first golf & Country Resort and voted by Golf Magazine as One of the 50 Greatest Golf Courses in the World. Not only is the course well-known to Indonesia and Asia, but attracts professional golfer from all over the world.
This course is Bali’s first and most iconic world class golf course. This 18- hole, par 72 championship golf course was masterfully designed by five times British Open Champion Peter Thomson, Michael Wolveridge and Ronald Fream. What makes this courses is unique is the location. The highest golf course in Indonesia about 1.142 meters above sea level, the cool refreshing climate is far cry from Bali hot sandy beaches and warm climate.
